About this part

The Monroe 34677 is a nitrogen gas charged Gas-Magnum shock for the front axle. Monroe uses a multi-lip fluid seal and a hard sintered iron rod guide to cut friction and extend service life, plus a swage-hardened pressure tube and arc-welded mounts. Full displaced valving is meant to give consistent ride control. The upper mount uses code S4 and the lower mount code CLEV, an internal rebound bumper is built in, and there is no bump stop or hydraulic lockout. Monroe says it meets the original equipment requirements.

Listed for the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4WD and the 2004 Silverado 1500 AWD. The note says it is for trucks without electronic adjustable suspension.
