Air Intake
The air intake department lists 693 parts from $5 to $1459 for vehicles built from 1961-2026. It covers the parts that filter, measure and meter the air your engine breathes, plus emissions parts such as EGR valves and purge valves. Choose your year, make and model to see only the parts that fit.

Parts in this department
EGR valves are the largest group with 119 listings, followed by breather hoses, air mass meter boots, mass air flow sensors and idle control valves. You will also find intercoolers, air pumps, carbon canisters, purge valves, intake manifolds, intake manifold runner valves, throttle body spacers, cold air intakes, engine air filters and cabin filters. Brands include Genuine, Standard Motor Products, AC Delco, Dorman and Mopar. Chevrolet has the most coverage, with the Impala, Corvette and Camaro well represented, followed by Ford, Honda, Toyota and Dodge.
Common signs of intake trouble
A cracked intake hose or torn air mass meter boot lets unmetered air into the engine. That can cause a rough idle, hesitation and a check engine light with lean codes. A sticking EGR valve can cause a rough idle or stalling. A failing purge valve or carbon canister often sets evaporative emissions codes and can make the engine hard to start right after refueling. A dirty engine air filter restricts airflow, and a clogged cabin filter cuts the airflow from your heater and AC vents.
Choosing the right part
Engine size matters more than model in this department. The same model can use different EGR valves, sensors and manifolds depending on the engine, so check the fitment table for engine code and displacement as well as trim. On sensors, compare the connector shape and pin count. On boots and hoses, compare the diameter and the port layout. If you are unsure, read the number on your old part or use your VIN. Air and cabin filters are routine maintenance items, so check your owner's manual for the replacement interval.
Air Intake questions
How often should I replace my engine air filter?
Follow the interval in your owner's manual, and shorten it if you often drive on dusty or gravel roads. A quick check is to hold the filter up to a light. If it is dark and packed with debris, replace it, and make sure the new one seats fully in the airbox.
Can a bad EGR valve cause a rough idle?
Yes. If an EGR valve sticks open, exhaust gas flows into the intake at idle, which can make the engine idle rough or stall. A valve stuck closed can lead to pinging under load and emissions codes. Carbon buildup is a common cause, so inspect the passages when you replace it.
Will a cold air intake fit my vehicle?
Only if it is listed for your exact year, model and engine. Cold air intakes are shaped around a specific engine bay and sensor layout. Check the fitment table, and if you live in California or a state that follows its rules, confirm the intake is legal for road use there.
