This Stant fuel cap is an OE equivalent replacement in black. It is non-locking and has no tether. The note says it replaces the original cap with a white bottom and an orange O-ring seal. Stant also sells locking (10510) and keyed alike (17510) versions of the same cap. A worn or loose fuel cap can let fuel vapor escape and is a common reason for an evaporative emission warning light.
