The Monroe 34515 is a nitrogen charged Gas-Magnum shock for the rear of the Ram 1500. It uses an LS47 mount at both ends, has no hydraulic lockout, and no parts pack is listed. Monroe builds it with a swage-hardened pressure tube, arc-welded mounts, a multi-lip fluid seal and a sintered iron rod guide, and says the full displaced valving gives consistent ride control. Monroe states it meets original equipment requirements.

Installation notes

Swap rear shocks in pairs. Penetrating oil helps on rusted lower studs. Keep the axle supported with a jack while the shocks are out, work with the frame on jack stands, and tighten the mounts to spec.
