Monroe describes a nitrogen gas charge, swage-hardened pressure tube, arc-welded mounts, multi-lip fluid seal and sintered iron rod guide, plus full displaced valving for steady control. Monroe says it meets original equipment requirements.

Installation notes

Replace both front shocks together. Keep the vehicle on jack stands and the axle supported, and use the bushings and washers from parts pack P01167. Final tighten with the truck at ride height.
