About this part

The secondary air injection pump blows fresh air into the exhaust during cold starts. This helps the catalytic converter heat up faster and cuts emissions. When the pump fails, you often get an air injection code and a check engine light. Dorman's replacement comes with one gasket, three rubber vibration dampers and a wiring harness. A pulley and mounting hardware are not included.

Fitment notes

The table lists 306-010 for the 2000 and 2002 Chevrolet Impala with the 3.4L V6. The note says it is for cars with California emissions, so check the emissions label under the hood. Federal emissions cars may not have this pump. Check the table for your Impala or send us your VIN.
