Headlight Covers
Headlight covers fit over the headlamp lens to protect it from stone chips or to change the look of the front end. We carry 29 headlight covers from $8 to $95 for vehicles from 1991-2020, mostly from GT Styling, with fits for the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Ram 2500.

Why drivers add covers
Clear covers shield the headlamp lens from gravel, bugs and road debris, which can pit and cloud the plastic over time. Smoke covers add a tinted, darker look to the front end.
Covers in this category are shaped for specific vehicles and attach without drilling. Some use adhesive tape and others clip into place, so check the listing for the method.
Smoke versus clear
Clear covers keep light output close to stock while adding protection. Smoke covers cut some light, which can reduce how far you see at night. Some states restrict tinted lens covers on headlamps, so check your state's rules before you choose smoke for road use.
Styles listed here include solid and OEM style designs. Positions can be left, right or a front pair, so confirm whether a listing covers one side or both.
Fitting tips
Clean the headlamp lens with mild soap and water, then dry it fully before installation. Any dirt trapped under the cover will show and can scratch the lens. If the cover uses tape, install it at room temperature so the adhesive bonds well.
Use the vehicle selector to confirm the year and model, since lens shapes change with facelifts. Dry fit the cover before peeling any tape backing.
Headlight Covers questions
Are smoked headlight covers legal?
Rules vary by state. Some states restrict any tint or cover over headlamps on vehicles driven on public roads. Check your state's vehicle code before installing smoke covers.
Do headlight covers require drilling?
The covers listed here do not require drilling. Most attach with adhesive tape or clips. Check the install method on each listing. Dry fit each cover before you peel any backing.
Do clear headlight covers reduce light output?
Clear covers have little effect on light output when clean. Keep them free of dirt and haze so your headlights perform as designed. Smoke covers reduce output more than clear ones.
