Washer Reservoir
A washer reservoir is the plastic tank that holds windshield washer fluid and usually carries the washer pump. We list 38 reservoirs from $13 to $141 for 1968-2023 vehicles, from Action Crash, Dorman, AC Delco and Brock, with many for the Chevrolet Malibu, Equinox and Camaro.

Why reservoirs leak
Washer reservoirs are made of plastic and can crack from age, freezing or a front end collision. The pump grommet and level sensor seal can also leak.
Signs include washer fluid that runs out much faster than usual, puddles of blue or colored fluid under the front corner, or a low fluid warning soon after filling. Using plain water in freezing weather can crack the tank.
What comes with the tank
Package contents vary. Some listings are the reservoir and cap only. Others include the pump, level sensor or hoses. Read the details so you know which parts to transfer from your old tank.
Colors include white, black and clear plastic. Check whether a cap and mounting hardware are included. If your old pump is noisy or weak, a reservoir with a new pump saves a second job.
Installation tips
The reservoir is often behind the bumper or wheel liner. Drain the old tank, unplug the pump and sensor, and disconnect the hoses before removing the mounting bolts.
Fit new grommets for the pump and sensor. Fill the tank with washer fluid rated for your climate and test the front and rear washers. Use the fitment table, since tanks change with headlight washers, rear wipers and engine options.
Washer Reservoir questions
Does a washer reservoir come with a pump?
Some do and some do not. Listings show package contents such as reservoir and cap, or reservoir with pump and sensor. Check before ordering. Transfer any parts that are not included from your old tank.
Can I use water instead of washer fluid?
Water cleans poorly and can freeze, which may crack the reservoir and lines. Use washer fluid suitable for your local winter temperatures. Washer fluid also clears bugs and road film better than water.
How do I know if my washer reservoir is leaking?
Fill the tank and park on a dry surface. A puddle of washer fluid near the front corner after a few hours points to a leak in the tank or its grommets.
