Bumper End

A bumper end is the corner section of a bumper, either a separate cap or the outer end of a multi piece bumper. We list 51 bumper ends from $8 to $969 for 1984-2022 vehicles. Action Crash makes most of them, with the most options for the Ford F150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, F250 Super Duty and Expedition.

Where bumper ends are used

Many pickups and SUVs use bumpers made of several pieces. The center section carries the license plate or step, and separate ends wrap the corners. This makes it cheaper to fix a corner hit without replacing the whole bumper.

Corners take the brunt of parking lot bumps, posts and trailer swing. Replace a bumper end that is bent, torn, rusted through or missing chrome, or one with broken mounting points.

Side, finish and material

Ends are side specific. Our listings include front left on the driver side, front right on the passenger side, and rear left and rear right. Some rear ends are step bumper sections.

Finishes include chrome, primed for painting, and textured black. Materials are steel or plastic. Match the finish to the rest of your bumper so the corner does not stand out. Some listings show the OE number or Partslink number they replace, which helps cross reference.

Fitment and install

Read the fitment table for cab style, trim and bumper type. Trucks often offered chrome, painted and black bumpers on different trims, each with its own ends.

Support heavy bumpers before removing bolts. Rusty hardware on older trucks often needs penetrating oil or replacement. Transfer any sensors, fog lamps or trim, and align the end with the center section before final tightening.

Bumper End questions

Can I replace just the corner of my truck bumper?

On many trucks with multi piece bumpers, yes. Order the bumper end for the damaged side and position.

Do primed bumper ends need painting?

Yes. A primed end is ready for paint but should be painted to match before install, since primer alone will not hold up outdoors.

What is a Partslink number?

It is a cross reference number used in collision parts. If your old part or estimate lists one, it helps confirm you have the right piece.
