About this part

The 618K is GM's own replacement for the factory plug wires on the 1984 Corvette. AC Delco makes it to GM OE specification for fit, form and function, and GM recommends it as the replacement for the original part. The set includes eight wires, cut and booted for this engine. AC Delco says the wires are built to carry high voltage pulses without damage. New wires cure misfires and rough running caused by worn insulation or loose terminals.

Installation notes

Replace wires one at a time to keep the firing order correct. Inspect the distributor cap and rotor while you are there, as they wear along with the wires. Seat each boot firmly on the plug and cap terminals.
