TO1237116 is the left hand gas charged strut that raises the hood on a Camry Hybrid. Over time the gas charge escapes and the strut can no longer carry the weight of the hood. This replacement uses a steel body and comes from the Premium line at Action Crash. It is the part to order when the driver side strut is leaking, bent or no longer holds.

Installation notes

Support the hood with a prop before you start, since it will drop once the strut is off. Release the end clips with a small screwdriver and push the new strut onto the ball studs. Swapping both sides keeps lift even.
