About this part

On an early Duramax, a weak glow plug shows up first on cold mornings: long cranking, a misfire at idle and white exhaust smoke. The plug heats the cylinder so diesel fuel can ignite on compression before the engine is warm. Beru's W0133-1694131 is a GE/GN type replacement for the 2003 Silverado 2500 HD. A resistance test with a multimeter will tell you which plugs have failed.
