About this part

CSF builds the 6012 with an aluminum tube and fin core and aluminum tanks rather than plastic ones. Aluminum tanks remove the plastic-to-metal seam that often cracks on worn factory units. The core follows the original equipment design, so it mounts in the stock location and connects to the stock pipes. The cooler drops the temperature of boosted air before it reaches the engine, which supports power and keeps exhaust temperatures down.

Rows list the 6012 for the 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty and 2008 Ford F350 Super Duty, both with the 6.4L V8 turbocharged diesel. Gas engine Super Duty trucks are not in the rows. Check your engine and model year in the fitment table, or send your VIN and we will check it for you.

Installation notes

Fit new coupler boots and clamps while the pipes are off. Wipe any oil residue from the charge pipes. The radiator support area is tight on these trucks, so take care not to bend condenser fins. Pressure test the boost side when done.
