About this part

This lid covers the storage bin in the center section of a split bench seat and doubles as an armrest. A cracked surface or broken latch is a common failure after years of use. Dorman built this one to match the fit and function of the original equipment lid and says it is tested for fit and service life. It comes in black for interiors with that trim color.

Fitment notes

Dorman 924-835 is listed for the GMC Sierra 1500 from 2007 to 2009 and in 2011 and 2012, front row, with a split bench seat. The 2010 model year is not in our rows. Bucket seat trucks are not part of this listing. Match your interior color, then confirm your truck in the table or send your VIN.

Installation notes

Remove the screws at the hinge and lift off the old lid. Fit the new lid and check that it latches and opens smoothly. Keep the old screws in case the kit uses the originals.
