About this part

The Performer-Link set uses a solid bushing chain that Edelbrock says resists stretch, with a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets. The crank gear is stress proof steel and offers three keyway settings for accurate cam timing. It works with stock or Edelbrock camshafts. Edelbrock rates it for use up to 6500 rpm and aims it at racing and engine swaps.

7802 is listed for the 1974 Chevrolet Corvette 5.7L V8. The note says it is not legal on pollution controlled vehicles and not for OEM hydraulic roller lifter camshaft engines. Check your local rules, the fitment table, or send your VIN.

Installation notes

Disconnect the battery and drain coolant before pulling the timing cover. Set cylinder one at top dead center and use the straight up keyway unless your cam card calls for another. Fit a new cover gasket and seal.
