About this part

This set seals both valve covers to the cylinder heads and stops oil from seeping down the sides of the engine. Edelbrock uses a multi-layer construction that is chemically bonded for strength. At 5/16 inch thick, the gasket also gives a bit more room under the covers. Leaking valve covers often show as oil on the exhaust manifolds, a burning smell and wet spark plug wells.
