About this part
On the 2006 Tahoe, the KYB 565067 replaces the front shock with a MonoMax monotube design, which KYB markets as its maximum performance upgrade. KYB pitches it at trucks and SUVs that tow or carry heavy loads, saying it gives strong control and stands up to rough roads. The shock is supplied new as a single unit, and the maker notes installation is simple on the listed vehicle.
Fitment notes
The catalog shows the 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe with rear-wheel drive. SUVs with Z55 Autoride or the Premium Smooth Ride suspension are excluded. Check the RPO codes on your glove box label, then confirm your Tahoe in the fitment table or send your VIN.
