About this part
The starter motor turns the engine over until it fires. A worn starter may click, crank slowly, or grind against the flywheel. Pure Energy 6492SN is a new unit designed around the original Delco starter used on this V8. It mounts in the factory location and uses the same electrical connections. A new starter is a good fix when the battery and cables test fine but cranking is still weak.

Installation notes
