About this part

Made of stainless steel with a silver finish, this guard covers the tail lamp and shields it from rocks, branches and bumps. It bolts on between the tail light and the body using the factory holes, and Smittybilt says no modification or drilling is needed. The bright stainless look suits a Jeep with chrome or polished trim, and the manufacturer says it protects from impact damage.

Fitment notes

Part 8460 is listed for the Jeep Scrambler from 1981 through 1985, and for the 1994 and 1999 Jeep Wrangler. Other Wrangler years do not appear in the rows. Compare your tail light housing with the photo before ordering, and use the table above or send us the VIN.
