About this part

This UAC part is an FS10 style A/C compressor assembly, supplied new. It replaces the belt driven pump that circulates refrigerant through the system and builds the pressure needed for cold air at the vents. Only the compressor is included, so plan to source the accumulator, orifice tube and seals separately. The catalog note is short, which makes a side by side check with your old compressor worthwhile before the system is opened.

Installation notes

A shop must recover the refrigerant before the lines come off. Swapping a compressor without replacing the accumulator and orifice tube is a common cause of repeat failure. Use new O-rings, the correct oil, and a full vacuum before recharging.
