About this part

This Unity kit replaces both rear air bags on an Expedition with factory air suspension. When an air spring leaks, the rear sags overnight and the compressor works overtime to catch up, which can burn it out. The set includes driver and passenger side springs plus instructions. Unity says new springs restore the original ride height and ride quality and help the vehicle carry loads consistently. Replacing both sides keeps the rear level.

Installation notes

Support the vehicle on jack stands with the rear suspension hanging. Turn off the air suspension switch before you start. Release air from the old springs, fit the new ones and check for leaks with soapy water once inflated.
