About this part

This module drops into the fuel tank and supplies the engine with fuel at the right pressure. Airtex builds it around turbine pump technology, which tends to run quieter and smoother than older roller pump designs. The box includes the tank seals, connectors and wiring harness, plus a gasket. Airtex says it meets or exceeds OE specifications. Replace it if the engine cranks but does not start, or loses power when the tank is low.

Installation notes

Disconnect the battery and relieve fuel pressure first. Drop the tank with the fuel level low and keep sparks and flames away. Fit the new seal, then cycle the key a few times and check for leaks before starting.
