About this part

This Arnott unit combines a monotube hydraulic shock with a rubber air bladder in one assembly. Arnott uses a Goodyear air spring and an Eibach shock, engineered in the USA, protected by an aluminum can and heavy duty crimping rings. It has a progressive spring rate and comes with springs, spring seat, isolators and an upper mounting isolator. It is air adjustable but not otherwise adjustable, and no boot is included. Arnott calls it a direct OE replacement.

Fitment notes

Listed for the 2015 to 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe with Magneride suspension, RPO code Z95. Look for Z95 on the service parts label before ordering, since vehicles without it use a different setup. Check the fitment table or send your VIN to confirm.

Installation notes

Lift and support the vehicle on jack stands, then let the air system settle before disconnecting any air line. Disconnect the battery before unplugging the Magneride connector. Replace both rear units together and check the system for leaks afterward.
