About this part

This handle opens the tailgate on the Silverado HD. Original handles often crack at the pivot or lose the clip that connects to the latch rods, so the gate stays shut. The replacement has a textured black finish and is graded premium, a high quality new replacement part. It suits trucks where only the handle has failed and the latches still work.

Fitment notes

The catalog lists GM1915105 for the 2001-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and the 2007 Silverado 2500 HD Classic. The note excludes C3 models, which use a different handle. Trucks with a tailgate lock may need a matching lock cylinder. Your VIN lets us confirm it, or use the table above.
