About this part

This short molded hose from Gates carries coolant between the throttle body and the intake manifold on the 1985 Corvette. It has an EPDM tube and cover with synthetic fiber knit reinforcement. Gates says it is engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, which it names as the leading cause of hose failure. The hose meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 and is rated from -40 to 275 degrees F. It is for coolant only; do not use it for fuel or oil.

Fitment notes

The 18777 is listed for the 1985 Chevrolet Corvette with the 5.7L V8 gas engine, in the throttle body to intake manifold position. Molded hoses follow a set shape, so compare the bends with your old hose. Check your car in the fitment table, or send us your VIN to confirm.
