About this part

This part is the bezel, the housing that surrounds the tailgate handle opening, not the handle lever itself. A cracked or faded bezel lets water and dirt into the latch area and looks worn. This one has a black textured finish. At $5.98 it is a low cost way to tidy the tailgate if the handle still works. The brand rates it as a premium, high quality new replacement part.

Fitment notes

The catalog lists GM1916102 for the 2002 to 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. It is the rear tailgate handle bezel with a black textured finish. Compare it with your truck's bezel before ordering, and check whether you need the handle as well. The table may be incomplete, so confirm your Sierra there or send us your VIN.
