About this part

This Autobest module replaces the whole in-tank assembly on the V6 S10. It combines the electric fuel pump, the sending unit and float that drive the fuel gauge, the reservoir, the strainer, an upgraded wiring harness and a new tank seal. That suits trucks with both a tired pump and an erratic gauge. Low pressure often shows as hesitation, stalling when hot or a long crank.

Installation notes

Relieve fuel pressure, disconnect the battery and keep sparks and flames away. Lower the tank with a jack supporting it. Clean the tank opening before fitting the new seal. Pressure test or check for leaks with the key on before starting.
