About this part

On the 2.0L Civic, this hose carries air from the intake box to the throttle body. Over the years, engine heat makes the rubber brittle, and the folds can split. A split hose lets air bypass the sensors, which can cause stalling, hesitation and a check engine light. This Genuine branded hose is a direct replacement for the factory part. The 2.0L engine has its own intake layout, so it does not share a hose with the 1.8L Civic.
