About this part

OESpectrum is Monroe's OE-style strut line. It uses position sensitive damping, which gives a softer response on small bumps and firmer control on large ones. A bronze reinforced rod guide supports the piston rod, and all-weather fluid keeps the action smooth in heat and cold. Rod displaced valving adjusts to road conditions. This is the strut cartridge only, so you transfer the coil spring and mount from your old assembly.

Fitment notes

This strut is listed for the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu on the front right, passenger side. The matching left side strut is a separate part. Because the spring and mount are reused, check them for wear first. The fitment table may not be complete, so confirm your Malibu there or send us your VIN.

Installation notes
