About this part

This exhaust gas recirculation valve meters exhaust back into the intake to lower combustion temperatures and nitrogen oxide output. A stuck or failed valve can trigger EGR codes, a rough idle or detonation. The part is new and described as OEM quality. If the plug on your wiring harness is damaged, the note says to use mating connector PT1154, which comes with leads for splicing in.
