About this part
This GM-recommended knock sensor sends signals to the engine control module so it can adjust timing when it detects pre-ignition. That helps prevent engine damage from knocking. It is manufactured to GM OE specification for fit, form and function and is sold new. If the harness plug is damaged, the note says to use mating connector PT2652 with leads.
