About this part

This 5.5 inch rubber hose connects the air cleaner housing to the throttle body on the 1.8L Civic. Dorman says it is made to fit and function like the original part, and that each design is tested for fit and performance. Three clamps come in the package, so you do not need to reuse rusty originals. A cracked intake hose lets unmetered air past the sensor and can set lean codes or cause a rough idle.

Fitment notes

The 696-105 is listed for the 2012 and 2015 Honda Civic with the 1.8L four cylinder, air cleaner to engine position. Other model years are not in our rows. Look at the shape of your hose and compare it before ordering. The fitment table shows the listed cars, or send your VIN.

Disconnect any small breather hoses from the old intake hose and loosen the clamps. Slide the new hose fully onto each fitting and tighten the supplied clamps. Start the engine and listen for whistling that would point to a leak.
