It uses an all weather fluid and a micro-cellular gas design that lets it be mounted horizontally, as it sits on the Ram's tie rod. Monroe says its self lubricating seal holds the gas charge without excessive wear or friction. The note lists it as a replacement for OE number 52106909AE.

Installation notes

Park on level ground with the wheels straight ahead. Note how the old damper mounts before removing it. Replace worn bushings and check tie rod ends and the track bar, since loose parts cause wander a damper cannot fix.
