Escape liner fitment by generation
The Escape front end changed with each generation, so start there. The 2001-2007 model, often split into 2001-2004 and 2005-2007 styling periods, the 2008-2012 model and the 2013-2015 model each have their own liner shape. Do not mix parts across them.
Pick the side next. Listings here are front left driver side or front right passenger side, with the material noted on some, such as PP plastic. Some Hybrid listings have their own part. Drive type, engine and trim can matter in some years, so check the fitment table and compare the mounting holes and any wiring pass-through with your old liner.
Why Escape liners need replacing
Liners crack and tear from curbs, road debris, collisions and careless removal during other repairs. A liner can also sag or flap once its mounting holes break or clips go missing, and then it scrapes the tire in turns or over bumps.
Without a good liner, water, mud and road salt reach the fender, bumper, wiring and engine bay parts. Rust around the wheel opening is a known concern on 2001-2007 Escapes, so look at the metal wheelhouse and fender lip when you inspect the liner. A noise in the wheel well might also come from a loose splash shield or bumper attachment.
Fitting a new Escape fender liner
Remove the wheel for room, then release the plastic clips and screws holding the old liner. On 2001-2007 models the job involves wheel well clips, 10 mm liner bolts and some bumper cover fasteners. Steps vary by generation, and some sections need the bumper cover loosened.
Plan on new clips, screws and retainer nuts if the old ones are broken or the holes are worn, because Ford lists this hardware as separate parts. Before you fit the new liner, check the fender lip, bumper mounts and wiring for rust or damage. Then secure the liner at every point and check tire clearance at full lock.

Escape questions
Does a 2001-2007 Escape fender liner fit a 2008 Escape?
No. The 2008 redesign changed the front end and wheel openings, so liners are different. Choose the listing for your generation and side. Each liner here is sold for one side only.
Do Escape Hybrid models use a different inner fender liner?
Some do. Several listings here are cataloged specifically for Hybrid models. Check the fitment notes for your exact year and model before you order. Compare the mounting holes with your old liner too.
Do I need new clips for an Escape inner fender liner?
Often, yes. Old clips and screws break or lose their grip, and a new liner will not stay secure without them. Replace any damaged hardware during installation.
