Corvette TPMS fitment by generation
Choose by generation first: the 1998-2004 C5, the 2005-2013 C6, the 2014-2019 C7 or the 2020-2021 C8. Coupe, convertible, engine and suspension do not usually change the sensor, but model year and sensor generation do. On the C5, 1997-2000 sensors can look like later ones yet differ inside, so they are not necessarily interchangeable.
The sensor itself is usually not tied to one corner. Sensors are picked by application, then relearned to a position. Check your wheels too. With aftermarket wheels, the valve hole design and stem angle can affect fit. Some listings here also fit other GM cars, such as one that fits the ZL1 Camaro.
Signs a Corvette sensor has failed
Each sensor runs on an internal battery, and when it dies the sensor is replaced, not repaired. Typical signs are a TPMS warning, a Service Tire Monitor message, a missing or intermittent reading, or one wheel that never shows a pressure.
Sensors can also be damaged during tire service, by corrosion or by a broken valve stem. A warning light alone does not prove a bad sensor. Low tire pressure, a sensor that was never relearned, a communication fault or a problem with the receiver can all trigger it. Check pressures and run the relearn before you order.
Installing and relearning sensors
The tire must come off the wheel to replace a sensor, so plan it with a tire service. Replace the valve stem service kit, with its nut, seal and cap, whenever the tire is removed, as Schrader recommends. Service kits are listed here too. If all your sensors are original and the same age, a four-sensor kit can save a second trip.
After mounting, set pressures to the door placard and balance the wheel. Then relearn the sensors. C5 cars use a magnet in the documented procedure, while C6 and later cars use a TPMS activation tool, in the order left front, right front, right rear, left rear. Relearn also after fitting accessory wheels.

Corvette questions
Do I need a tool to relearn Corvette TPMS sensors?
On C6 and later Corvettes, GM procedures use a TPMS activation tool. The documented C5 procedure uses a magnet. The order is left front, right front, right rear, left rear.
Do C5 Corvette TPMS sensors all interchange?
Not necessarily. Sensors for 1997-2000 cars can look like later C5 sensors but use different internal parts. Match your exact year in the fitment table.
Should I replace all four Corvette TPMS sensors at once?
If all four are original and the same age, replacing them together can make sense since their batteries age together. Otherwise, a single sensor is fine.
